Hey Everyone!
Welcome back to my newsletter 🗞
Anyone else already feeling fall vibes? It can't just be me lol. Summer flew by and now I'm just patiently waiting for the next season change (fall is my FAVE for fashion...hello Paris/NYC/London Fashion Week).
On Wednesday, Aug 12th there will be two major astrological events that will signify the peak of a powerful cosmic reset: 1.) New Moon in Leo and 2.) Total Solar Eclipse. If there was ANY time this year you want to lock in your manifestations...this is it! Think more authenticity, truths revealed (👀), stronger intuition, bold communication, etc. I can just feel that this is going to be an extra special week!
This week's edit features my weekly Beauty Recommendations, Newest Chic Brand Find - Sézane, How To Build Confidence + much more! Enjoy 😘

Your Daily Life is the Aesthetic ✨🌿
Plot twist: your life is already aesthetic...you’re just too busy living it to actually notice. Yes, even the slightly chaotic mornings, the lunch run in your favorite outfit, the grocery store trip where you somehow end up buying flowers and the Thursday night dinner you actually made an effort for. We all get SO caught up in waiting for the big moments (the week long vacation, the dream apartment, the perfect weekend, etc.) to make life feel beautiful, when really, the magic is hiding in the little routines we repeat every single day. And honestly? Your life doesn’t need to look cinematic to be worth romanticizing.
Here’s a fun little reality check: according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Americans spend an average of about 5 hours a day on leisure and sports activities. Which made me think: 'What if we started making some of that everyday time feel a little more niche to us?' Put on the perfume you’ve been saving. Use the pretty glass. Wear the outfit that feels slightly overdressed for no reason. Make your morning coffee feel like a self care morning routine instead of a race. These tiny choices are not frivolous...they’re little reminders that you actually get to participate in the life you’re living.
So no, you don’t need a completely new life to have an "aesthetic" one. You just need to notice the one you already have and feel gratitude. Your errands, your playlists, your Sunday reset, your favorite lipstick, the way you set the table, even the five-minute walk around the block...all of it counts. The chicest thing you can do is make your "ordinary" life feel intentional.
The Ultimate "I Have Nothing To Wear" Chic Solution Guide 👗🥿
We’ve all had that moment: a closet full of clothes, a floor full of rejected outfits and somehow absolutely nothing to wear. But here’s the secret...the answer usually isn’t more clothes, it’s simply better outfit formulas. When you’re staring at your wardrobe in a state of panic, go back to the pieces that never fail. Think less 'What should I wear?' and more 'What’s my formula/uniform today?'
For Work: Tailored trousers + a fitted blouse or fine-knit sweater + loafers or ballet flats + a structured bag. Add gold earrings and a belt and suddenly the outfit has that 'she definitely has her life together' energy. For a slightly more fashion-forward office moment, swap the trousers for a midi skirt and add a crisp button-down with sleek heels in a neutral color (black, nude, etc.). Obviously it depends on where you work with how bold your outfit can be per the company policy...but these have been some of my go-to, fail proof options for in office when I just don't feel like thinking about it in the morning. For the work from home girlies...try an elevated lounge set + delicate jewelry or wide-leg knit pants + fitted sweater + statement earrings so you still look and feel put together.
For Everyday Life: Relaxed straight-leg jeans + a fitted tank or tee + an oversized button-down + chic flats. If you want to instantly elevate it, add a belt, gold hoops, sunglasses, and a structured tote (accessories are basically the cheat code for making a simple outfit look chic). Another foolproof formula? A comfy midi dress + sandal heels + lightweight jacket. It works for coffee dates, errand runs, lunch meet ups or those days when your schedule somehow contains absolutely everything. The goal is to be comfortable, feminine and just polished enough.
For Date Night/Girls' Night: A silky blouse with dark denim and heels, a simple black dress with statement earrings, or a fitted top with a great midi skirt and a little bag. Don’t overcomplicate it—the goal is to look like you made an effort without looking like you spent three hours making an effort. For the weekend, go relaxed but intentional: straight-leg denim + a striped sweater + ballet flats, or relaxed trousers + a tucked-in tank + cardigan + sneakers. Add sunglasses, a great tote, and suddenly brunch, bookstore, coffee, and wandering around the city all feel like one very chic little itinerary.
And when all else fails, remember the Three-Piece Rule: choose one fitted piece, one relaxed or structured layer and then one accessory that pulls everything together. Jeans + white tee + blazer. Trousers + tank + cardigan. Midi skirt + sweater + belt. Dress + jacket + statement earrings. It’s basically girl math for fashion lol. The trick to always looking put together is also having an always updated capsule wardrobe and knowing your no-fail combinations well enough that getting dressed becomes the easiest part of your day.
How To Build Confidence When You Don't Feel Like Your "Best Self" ✨☺️
Confidence has a funny way of arriving precisely when you stop waiting for yourself to become someone else. We tend to think we’ll feel most confident once the outfit fits perfectly, the skin is perfect and glowing, the career is thriving, etc. But your “best self” is not a fixed destination...it’s a constant moving target. Real confidence begins in the less glamorous moments: getting dressed when you feel uninspired, speaking up when your voice shakes, taking yourself seriously even when you don’t quite feel convinced. It is less about performing perfection and more about developing a quiet familiarity with who you actually are, including the slightly messy, wonderfully unfinished parts.
Maybe you don’t need a glow-up...you just need a break from constantly feeling like you’re behind. Because being a woman in your 20s/30s (or honestly any age) can feel like living inside a never-ending before-and-after: before you get the body, the job, the relationship, the apartment, the confidence; after you finally become the woman you were “supposed” to be. But let me tell you something...you do NOT have to earn the right to feel beautiful, interesting, desirable, successful or worthy by becoming more polished, more productive or more palatable. Some days you’ll feel absolutely magnetic; other days you’ll feel like you're going through the motions and just existing. Both versions are you.
So start asking, 'How can I show up for myself today?' Wear the lipstick you’ve been saving for a “better” occasion. Treat yourself to a solo dinner date. Say "No" without giving an entire ted talk about why. Let yourself be seen before you feel completely ready. Confidence is built through these tiny acts of self-trust...the accumulated evidence that you can rely on yourself. There is something deeply chic about that kind of self-assurance: it doesn’t need to announce itself. It simply walks into the room, adjusts its sunglasses and knows it belongs there.
Finance Chic Series ✨💵
We're back in week three of my multiple part finance series. Continuing on with "Income & Side Hustles" this week’s topic will focus on Negotiating Pay.
TOPIC #3 - INCOME & SIDE HUSTLES: "NEGOTIATING PAY" 📈📉✨
There is nothing more girl boss than making sure you're paid properly. Not “if it’s not too much trouble” properly. Properly properly. Whether you’re negotiating a salary, raising your freelance rate or deciding what your side hustle is actually worth, the first rule is simple: do not negotiate against yourself before the conversation has even begun. Women are often socialized to make the other person comfortable...softening requests with apologies, adding caveats or volunteering reasons why we might accept less and justifying it in our heads. GIRL...stop that habit right now.
My current rule of thumb is honestly just to have the same audacity of a mediocre man 😏. At the end of the day...the absolute worst that can happen when negotiating is you get a "No"...and that is not the end of the world. But let's bring it back to negotiating 101 tactics that typically average out a high ROI: anchor high but credibly, (do the research) let the other party make the first offer when possible and negotiate the whole package rather than obsessing over one number. Salary is only one piece; consider equity, bonuses, title, flexibility, more vacation, professional development, scope, and, for freelancers, payment terms and usage rights. And if someone asks for your expected salary? You can simply redirect with, “I’d love to understand the range budgeted for the role first.” Chic. Useful. No financial oversharing required. Always put the ball back in their court in a way that will make them give a number FIRST as this will give you the most leverage.
For women especially, the trick is to make the negotiation about value, not virtue. You are not asking them to be nice to you; you are making a business case for why the number makes sense. Before the conversation, write down three things: the measurable results you’ve delivered, the responsibilities you’ve taken on beyond your original remit and the market value of comparable work. Then make the ask directly: “Based on the scope of the role and my experience, I’m looking for $X.” And then...STOP TALKING. It sounds totally counter intuitive, but being silent after you make your case in a negotiation is the #1 way to gain the most leverage (especially if it's in a room full of men). If they say the number is too high, resist the instinct to immediately offer yourself at a discount. Try saying, “What flexibility do you have?” or “If the base can’t move, what other elements of the package can we adjust?” So all in all...it is key to become the woman who knows exactly what she brings to the table and remember your worth.✨💸👛
Future Manifestations, In Progress 💫...
Let me tell you something...I am a manifesting queen. I truly have been manifesting what I wanted since I was a little girl before I even knew what it was. And you want to know something funny? We ALL are. At every moment of every day...we are all manifesting...whether it be good or bad. So why not use that knowledge and use it to your advantage? There’s something powerful about putting your hopes, goals and dreams into words. Writing them down gives them shape, while sharing them can create accountability, inspiration and momentum. It doesn’t have to be perfectly planned or even completely realistic...sometimes the best ideas start as a sentence in a notebook.
Below are some personal ones I have in regards to my fashion business/content creation:
- Invite to the Met Gala (one thing about me...I'm going to dream BIG) 💫
- Fashion collab with a major, established brand (LaChicCouture X TBD) 👗
- Billboard on Times Square in NYC 🗽
- Multiple Streams of Income / Financial Freedom 💵💰
